Terms of service

These terms cover your use of SnoopScan: the API, the MCP server, your account and the free tools on this site. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

SnoopScan fetches web pages and documents at your request and returns their content as markdown, HTML, links, screenshots or structured data. You decide what it fetches. We do not review the pages you request.

Accounts and teams

You are responsible for your account, your API keys and everything done with them. Keep keys private. A team account shares one balance of credits and one set of keys; the owner and admins can invite and remove members, and are responsible for what members do.

Credits and billing

Every plan is a monthly allowance of credits. What each request costs is published on the pricing page and shown in your activity log. Unused credits do not roll over: the allowance resets each month on your billing day, and on a yearly plan it still resets every month, on the same day of the month your year began.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly as you choose, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel from Billing at any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and then stops. A plan change takes effect as the Billing page describes before you confirm it. A change that starts straight away is charged for the rest of the current period; one that starts at renewal costs nothing until then.

Payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. That includes unused time: canceling, moving to a smaller plan or moving from yearly to monthly part-way through a period does not refund the rest of it, including the unused months of a yearly plan, and unused credits are not refunded.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, to access systems you are not permitted to access, to collect personal data in breach of the laws that apply to you, or to overload a website. Rate limits apply per key and protect other customers.

Support access

Our support team may access your account to help with a request you make. Each access is logged, and you can ask us for the record.

Your data

Fetched pages are cached for a short time. Your account details, keys (stored hashed), usage records and support conversations are kept for as long as you have an account. We do not sell your data. The privacy policy has the details.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as is. Websites change and some block automated requests, so we cannot promise that every page can be fetched. We may change the service and these terms; we will email you about material changes before they take effect.

Closing your account

You can delete your account from Settings at any time; every key stops working immediately and unused credits are not refunded. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
