What we collect
Account details. Your name, email address and a hashed password. For a team, the same for every member and who invited them.
Usage records. For every API request: the endpoint, the host of the page fetched, whether it came from cache, and the credits charged. Not the page content, beyond a short-lived cache. The full web address is kept for thirty days so your activity log can show it, then only the host.
Support. Emails you send us and our replies, kept as tickets.
The web unblocker. For the free tool we keep a hashed form of your IP address, the host you fetched, and whether it worked, for thirty days, to enforce the daily limits. The raw address is never stored.
Cookies. A session cookie to keep you signed in and a preference for light or dark mode. No advertising cookies.
Why
To run the service, meter it, bill it, keep it secure, answer your support requests, and send you the emails your account needs: verification, password resets, credit warnings, invoices, and change alerts you have asked for.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider, our email delivery provider and our payment processor, each only for the purposes above. Our support team can see your account to help you, as the terms describe.
How long
Account data for as long as you have an account and thirty days after. Usage records for twelve months. Fetched page content for the cache window you set, at most seven days. The results of a crawl or batch job stay with the job for thirty days, and a page you watch for changes keeps its latest copy for up to ninety days so we can show you what changed. AI apps and agents
When you connect SnoopScan to an AI app such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, the app sends us the tool calls it makes for you: the web addresses, search terms, schemas and options in each call. We handle them exactly like API requests. They are used to serve the call, metered to your account, and kept in your usage records as described above: the host of each page, not its content.
What a tool returns goes back to the app that asked for it. That can include page content and, for some tools, business contact details or the names and job titles of people at a company, taken from public sources. How the AI app stores what it receives is set by its own privacy policy.
Signing in through an AI app gives that app an access key for your account. It appears under API Keys in the members area, and you can revoke it there at any time. We do not use tool calls or their results to train AI models.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export and delete your data. Most of it is in the members area; delete your account from Settings, and ask support for anything else. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
